Describe your experience during Hurricane Harvey.
My family and I moved to Texas about three years ago. We lived in the Carolinas before for about 15 years. We heard about the storm coming and how flooding occurred in our areas. I felt alright for having insurance. That night was something else though. We lived in a one-floor house when the water started to drift inside. Our neighbor fled his home because he had two young children, but left us his key. The water really started to rise to our knees, and so we went to his house on the 2nd floor. I have never experienced a flood before, and I hope I never will again.
How did you hear about our company?
I heard about the Company SERVPRO from an adjuster I was working with. I called corporation to find a franchise to work on my property.
What was the reason that you chose us?
I received a call from the owner Bert of this SERVPRO, and I decided to hire his team. He was very welcoming when he answered the phone call. I was dealing with a tough time, so it was nice to hear some positive attitude.
Tell me what your experience has been with our products/services?
The whole experience was very depressing. My family and I have been going through a hard time losing most of our things. On the brighter side, we have new drywall up, and we are expected to move back in the next 6-8 weeks. The crew was very considerate and passionate of our situation. I felt very comfortable with the crew chief Jake. He answered all my questions to the best knowledge he could.
